Digital Wallet

A software application or physical device that stores your crypto and allows you to send, receive, and manage digital assets. There are two types:

  • Hot Wallets: A digital wallet that stays connected to the internet. It’s ideal for active trading, quick transactions, and on-the-go access to your crypto. Because it’s always online, it’s more vulnerable to attacks than cold storage, but a secure hot wallet like Plus Wallet is built to give you speed without sacrificing control.

  • Cold Wallets: A wallet that stores your crypto completely offline. It’s disconnected from the internet, which makes it far less vulnerable to hacks. Great for long-term holding or large balances you don’t need to touch often, but not as convenient for day-to-day activity.
