Dogecoin

The original meme coin. Dogecoin launched in 2013 as a joke, but the internet had other plans. Powered by a Shiba Inu mascot and a whole lot of community energy, it turned into a real digital currency used for tipping, donations, and making crypto just a little less serious.

There’s no max supply, so it’s inflationary by design. That means it’s not trying to be “digital gold.” It’s fun, fast, cheap to send, and backed by one of the loudest (and weirdest) communities in crypto. Elon tweets about it. Reddit loves it. And somehow, it’s still here.
